Currently there are three different types of membership/licenses across SAMI:
SAMI International Membership
The SAMI International Membership makes you an official member of the SAMI community. Like with many other clubs and associations, this low monthly fee is used to further develop the SAMI combat systems and and pay for all costs concerning the certification.
Therefore, you need the SAMI International Membership to get any official certification/diploma (online or in any center/studio). You do not need to pay the membership fee if you just want to take the course but before you can take the official exam you need to sign up.
SAMI Instructors License
The SAMI Instructors License is an agreement between SAMI International and every SAMI Instructor. This license allows the instructor to teach the SAMI Combat Systems (based in his own level) and us the SAMI brand.
As with the SAMI International Membership, the Instructors License need to be payed before taking the instructor course exam.
SAMI-X Membership
The SAMI-X membership includes all benefits of the SAMI International membership and gives you full access to our online learning platform SAMI-X.com. There you can learn martial arts and self-defense online.
SAMI-X can be used as additional training to your existing training at one of our centers or own its own.
